The Equity in GI (EiGI) conference has returned to Atlanta this year, promising an even more engaging and impactful experience. Hosted by the Color of Gastrointestinal Illness (COGI), this annual event brings together gastrointestinal physicians and patients for a weekend of collaboration, sharing, and celebration.
We are deeply inspired by the resilience of COGI’s ambassadors. Despite battling debilitating illnesses, they work tirelessly to advocate for other minorities who struggle to receive the diagnosis and treatment they need. Their groundbreaking efforts have led the charge to create meaningful change within the medical community. By pushing pharmaceutical companies to diversify their drug trials and helping the medical establishment recognize that gastrointestinal illnesses affect minority populations, not just white patients, COGI’s ambassadors have shattered long-held misconceptions.
It is our great honor to design the event materials for EiGI. The conference’s vibrant brand colors and hip-hop-inspired theme make this project one of our designers’ favorites. Year after year, the COGI team surprises us with innovative ideas that push the boundaries of event design, such as 3D structures, window clings, and interactive spaces. These creative touches help to amplify the voices and experiences of the diverse attendees, creating a truly immersive and empowering atmosphere.
But don’t take our word for it. Get a firsthand look at the energy and impact of EiGI 2023 in the official conference recap video below!
