On behalf of everyone here at Sabra, we would like to congratulate the National Capital Lyme Association
on winning the HHS LymeX Healthathon Challenge.

NatCapLyme’s newest children’s educational series, Tickbusters, was one of five winning entries chosen in the Department of Health and Human Services 2021 LymeX Education and Awareness Healthathon Challenge.

The HHS LymeX Education Healthathon Challenge is a crowd sourcing program, designed to help our government leverage the collective knowledge of community members and nonprofit programs in order to source and enhance pre-existing educational materials that help raise awareness of lyme and other tick-borne diseases nationwide.

Winning the LymeX Healthathon has helped Tickbusters educational series gain visibility and support nationally and we hope it will open the door for NatCapLyme to distribute their educational materials to schools across the country.

After finding out that they had won, Monte Skall, NatCapLyme’s Founder and Executive Director sent Chris, Sabra’s Creative Director, these kind words;

“All of this couldn’t have happened without you & Sabra. I want you to know how much I appreciated your help, the quality of the site that you produced for us and your understanding of how important it was to do the last minute tweaks that only you could do!” – Monte Skall

It was an honor to help NatCapLyme bring their Tickbusters webpage to fruition and such a joy to hear that their project was one of the top three selected winners. We can’t wait to see what the future has in store for NatCapLyme and look forward to helping them every step of the way.

Education is your best defense against ticks and the diseases they carry.
