In just 24 hours they raised $100,884 — meeting their match of $30,000 and then some!
$30,000 was the most substantial Giving Tuesday goal Bread had ever set. To surpass that by over $70k is just extraordinary.
With the $30,000 match, that’s $130,884 in support for those living on low incomes in DC.

If you missed Giving Tuesday, but would like to help there is still time! Bread for the City’s Holiday Helpings Campaign runs through the month of December. Your contributions will provide 11,ooo DC residents living on low-incomes, with a turkey and all the trimmings this holiday season.
