This past summer, the Color of Gastrointestinal Illnesses (COGI) organization hosted their 3rd annual Equity in GI (EiGI) conference in the vibrant city of Atlanta, Georgia. Amid a celebratory atmosphere of marching bands, BBQ, DJ beats, and dancing, participants were given a unique opportunity to share their stories and build deeper connections within the GI community of patients and healthcare providers.

Chronic gastrointestinal illnesses can be physically debilitating, but they also present significant mental and emotional challenges. At the EiGI conference, COGI curated events and experiences that allowed attendees to find solace, support, and understanding from those who truly comprehend their journeys. This sense of community empowered attendees, transforming their perspectives and giving them the fortitude to advocate more effectively for their own healthcare needs.

Seeing the radiant smiles and hearing the positive feedback from participants makes the EiGI conference one of our most fulfilling events for our team to work on. Our designers eagerly anticipate the opportunity to bring the organization’s vibrant branding and fun, innovative ideas to life each year. The electric atmosphere and meaningful connections forged at EiGI make it a truly unique and uplifting medical conference experience. – Check out the EiGI recap video below, to see all the vibrant signs and graphics we created for COGI’s event last year!

As the COGI team begins planning for EiGI 2025, we can’t wait to see how they will continue to uplift, empower, and unite the GI community in even more inspiring ways.
