ABGH

The Association of Black Gastroenterologists and Hepatologists (ABGH) is a non-profit organization founded in 2021 by gastroenterologists and hepatologists across the United States.

ABGH aims to address healthcare disparities in gastrointestinal and liver diseases that disproportionately affect Black communities. The organization is committed to promoting health equity, advancing scientific research, and supporting the professional growth of Black gastroenterologists, hepatologists, and scientists. ABGH hosts annual conferences to improve gastrointestinal health outcomes in Black communities and offers mentorship opportunities for Black students, trainees, and professionals to nurture the next generation in these fields.
